Dragon, which was directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and starring pradeep Ranganathan, opened in theaters on february 21st. The film has been wildly successful at the box office thanks to the tremendously excellent reviews it has garnered from viewers. The creators of Dragon, AGS Productions, formally declared yesterday that the movie's global box office receipts had surpassed 100 crore.
 
 After love Today, Dragon is pradeep Ranganathan's second 100-crore grossing film as an actor, having accomplished this record in just ten days.  In addition to earning 50 crores at the tamil Nadu box office, the movie has made over $1 million in North America.  Notably, pradeep Ranganathan reached these benchmarks with ease in just ten days, although even well-established tier-2 stars have found it difficult to do so.

Pradeep Ranganathan has solidified his status as a rising star in kollywood with Dragon's box office triumph.  With two consecutive 100-crore grossers, he has formally reached the tier-2 category, according to several box office observers.  The movie is still doing well in its third week, and because there aren't any big kollywood releases in the upcoming weeks, everyone is watching to see if Dragon can hit the 150-crore milestone.
