On march 2, 2025, DNEG, a visual effects and animation studio, won a prize at this year's Oscars.  For their work on Dune: Part Two, which came out last year, DNEG received the award.  Along with Production VFX Supervisor Paul Lamber and Special Effects Supervisor Gerd Nefzer, VFX Supervisors stephen James and Rhys Salcombe accepted the prize.  Interestingly, the business has already won an oscar for Dune: Part One.

Over the years, DNEG has also won Oscars for other movies, such as Tenet, Ex Machina, Blade Runner 2049, Interstellar, and more. Namit Malhotra, the CEO of the organization, also conveyed his joy by stating that it is a fresh validation for the teams' technical and creative leadership.  Along with a few other members, he also congratulated Denis Villeneuve, the director of the Dune movies.

In addition, the company's work has already received recognition at a few other ceremonies, such as the Saturn Awards, the Annual Visual Effects Society Awards, and the BAFTA Film Awards.  The recent victory of DNEG has sparked enthusiasm among those anticipating Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor.

This is because Michael Grobe, the VFX supervisor for Dune: Part Two, has been brought on board to work on the visual effects for Ramayana. Based on the company's past accomplishments, it appears that viewers will be treated to a different type of big-screen experience.  One of the most anticipated movies is Ramayana, and the makers have kept a lot of information secret about how the film's development has gone thus far.

In contrast to the circumstances surrounding the release of Adipurush, just a small number of stills have gone viral online thus far, and the current state of affairs suggests that nobody will be let down.  The primary issue that still has to be answered, though, is whether Ramayana will become a huge hit when it opens.
