The major news is coming from Madhya Pradesh's Betul.  A grave accusation has been made against hdfc bank staff members. They have been charged with embezzling funds from the client's accounts and fixed deposits.

It is believed that the staff members took this money out to wager on the indian Premier League. Six clients have lodged grievances against the bank's staff. These include illicit internet transfers, self-issued checks, and phony credit cards. They faced enormous losses as a result.

The funds vanished from FD.

Numerous clients reported that funds had vanished from their fixed deposits and accounts.  On the other hand, they had made a legitimate deposit.  Even the Rs 5 lakh that was put for his daughter's wedding vanished from his FD, according to one client.  Other clients reported fraudulent purchases using fictitious credit cards that were issued in their names at the same time.

Allegations Have Been Done Earlier As Well

In addition, the victims claimed that their complaints had not been registered by the local police.  They then had to ask the district administration to step in and help.  The Betul hdfc bank branch has already faced allegations of financial wrongdoing. Nonetheless, grievances have been filed in similar situations in the past. So far, no thorough inquiry has been conducted.

Odisha also reported such an occurrence.

The victims are currently experiencing financial difficulties. They are calling on the government to take firm action.  They expect harsh judicial action against the offenders in addition to the restoration of their money.  The bank of india recently informed the RBI of a loan fraud case involving Gupta Power Infrastructure Limited, situated in Odisha, that involved Rs 226.84 crore.  This occurrence occurred after the same Odisha-based business was accused of loan fraud of Rs 270.57 crore by punjab National Bank.
