What's New in PAN 2.0?
PAN and TAN will now be combined into a single system under the Unified wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital Framework.
All PAN-related data is securely stored in a centralized data vault.
Verification by QR Code: Both new and old PAN cards will have a QR code for immediate verification.
Easy Updates: Change information online without incurring additional fees.
 
PAN 2.0 will guarantee quicker processing, enhanced security, and smooth verification with these improvements, increasing the efficiency of taxpayer services beyond all previous levels.

Who Are Eligible?
Current PAN cardholders: Simply update to the QR-enabled PAN 2.0; no new app is required.  Your PAN number doesn't change.
New applicants: During registration, anyone requesting a PAN card for the first time is required to provide proof of identification, address, and birth.

How To Apply?
1⃣ Visit the official website - Apply via NSDL or UTIITSL, the government-authorized platforms.
2⃣ Fill in the application form - Enter your personal details, identity proof, and address proof.
3⃣ Upload required documents - Scan and submit wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital copies of your ID, address, and birth proof.
4⃣ review and submit - Ensure accuracy before final submission.

Required Documents for PAN 2.0 Application

Proof of Birth - Birth certificate, school transfer certificate, or passport.

Identity verification can be provided by a driver's license, passport, voter ID, or Aadhaar card.
