Another such instance in the US in recent months occurred on sunday when anti-Indian messages were desecrated at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, one of the biggest Hindu temples in southern California. Another act of hate against the Hindu community, according to BAPS Public Affairs, was the desecration of their temple in Chino Hills, California. The community will never allow hate to spread, it continued.

"The Hindu community in Chino Hills, california, is standing firm against hate in the face of yet another vandalism of a temple.  In an X post, BAPS Public Affairs stated, "We will never allow hate to take root in Southern california and Chino Hills with the community." "Our common humanity and faith will ensure that peace and compassion prevail," it continued.

The Chino Hills police Department has not yet stated the incident.

Similar Hate Incidents In the Past

Notably, a BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Sacramento, california was also vandalized in september last year, with hate messages inscribed on the sign of the temple.

The BAPS Public Affairs said their temple in Sacramento was desecrated with a "Hindus go back" message. "We stand united against hate with prayers for peace," the organization said in a post on X.

According to the Sacramento police, they are looking into a possible hate crime involving vandalism at the BAPS Hindu temple in Mather. Additionally, they stated that the suspect had harmed the water lines on the premises.

Another BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Melville, New York, was vandalized with hostile slogans almost ten days prior to the Sacramento event. After vehemently denouncing the act as "unacceptable," the indian Consulate General in New York brought the matter to the notice of US officials.
