Salman Khan's much awaited two-hero picture alongside atlee has sparked the public's passion for a real pan-Indian movie.  In addition to confirming the project, atlee created a lot of buzz about it because salman was in it.  Salman reportedly consented to make the "Baby John" cameo as a result of this project's confirmation.  However, as rumors of the project being shelved began to spread, primarily due to Salman's waning popularity, everything swiftly collapsed.

Some claim that sun Pictures replaced the superstar with allu arjun after losing faith in him, which resulted in his removal from the project.  Salman's recent losing streaks and waning appeal also drew harsh online criticism.  According to a recent Himesh Mankad article on Pinkvilla, the project was shelved because Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan were not available.  According to the story, Rajinikanth's heavy schedule prevented him from playing Salman's father till 2026, while Kamal felt uneasy in the part.

Salman's public relations team may have intervened to contain the damage after noticing a sizable negative bubble forming around the actor's reputation.  It would be fascinating to see if salman and his team realize that giving strong performances is enough to get him out of this predicament, or if these articles can do anything to curb his waning star power.
