Nonetheless, things are slowly changing as top South indian actresses increasingly command high salaries, demonstrating their box office star power.
 
The highest-paid actresses in South indian cinema are as follows:
 
 Trisha
 
Over the course of her two-decade career, trisha has earned between ₹4 and ₹10 crore in every film.  She is reportedly making ₹4 crore for her telugu comeback in Vishwambhara, and she was most recently seen with ajith kumar in Vidaamuyarchi.
 
Nayanthara
 
Nayanthara, Kollywood's Lady Superstar, asks ₹8 to ₹10 crore for each film.  Her most recent appearance was in Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale, a Netflix documentary.
 
Samantha
 
Samantha is a well-known figure in telugu and tamil films, earning between ₹3 and ₹8 crore for each project.  She reportedly made ₹5 crore for pushpa and was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny.

Rashmika Mandanna
 
 Rashmika Mandanna, known as the National Crush, costs between ₹4 and ₹6 crore for each film.  Chhaava is where we last saw her.
 
Sai Pallavi
 
 Sai Pallavi, who is well-known for her effortless acting and dancing abilities, is said to make ₹5 crore for every movie.  She received the same sum for Thandel and will play Goddess Sita in the Ramayana.

Anushka Shetty
 
 Anushka Shetty, one of the most seasoned actresses in the business, bills between ₹5 and ₹7 crore for each movie.  Her next appearance will be in Ghaati.
 
Pooja Hegde
 
Pooja Hegde, a well-known figure in South indian cinema, makes between ₹4 and ₹5 crore in every film.  Her next appearance will be as the lead in Retro, which also features a special song in Rajinikanth's Coolie. She was last seen in Deva.

Keerthy Suresh 
 
Keerthy suresh continues to be one of the highest-paid actresses in the South, earning between ₹3 and ₹4 crore every film.  She will shortly appear in Akka, a Netflix series.
 
Mrunal Thakur 
 
Mrunal Thakur now makes between ₹3 and ₹5 crore every film after becoming well-known for Sita Ramam.  According to reports, she paid ₹3 crore to play the lead in the telugu movie Dacoit.
 
Tamannaah Bhatia 
 
At ₹4 to ₹5 crore a film, tamannaah bhatia is one of the most paid actresses in South India.  Sikandar Ka Muqaddar was her most recent appearance.
 
Kajal Aggarwal 
 
According to reports, kajal aggarwal makes between ₹2.5 and ₹4 crore for each film.  Her next appearance will be in Kannappa.
