Since yesterday, Nayanthara has been the buzz of the town due to her public declaration that she does not want to be referred to as Lady super star since it puts her and the craft at odds. Following this, internet users began disseminating troll memes disparaging Nayanthara and posed numerous queries regarding why the "Lady Superstar" title had suddenly became problematic and whether this choice was taken in order to maintain attention.
 
Others attacked Nayanthara by stating that the kollywood audience did not refer to her as the Lady Super Star; only her husband, Vignesh Shivan, did.  Additionally, Nayanthara has lost her prominence in recent years due to the poor box office reception of her flicks. She employed this ploy in order to maintain her notoriety.
 
Social media users claim that Nayanthara's announcement that she would no longer be referred to as Lady super star is more of a reminder to everyone that she is the Lady Super Star.  Nayanthara's acting career is currently in decline because her recent films haven't done well at the box office. Nevertheless, she is currently starring as a female protagonist in a number of films, such as Rakkayi and Mookuthi Amman 2.  The success of these movies and Nayanthara's ability to resume her acting career are still up in the air.
