Bollywood is now making money off of re-releases after bad remakes since there are so many sporadic re-releases every week.  Next to board the train is Akshay Kumar's Namastey london, which will be re-released on march 14th, Holi.  There are several factors to consider before drawing any conclusions.
 
Due to his recent string of failures, akshay kumar is going through a difficult time in his career.  Predicting the response to Namastey London's re-release is quite dangerous, given that his films like Selifee opened at 2 crores and received a flop verdict.  In addition to Selfiee, his other failures include Bachchan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Mission Raniganj, all of which have not made a respectable amount of money at the box office.
 
On the plus side, though, Akshay Kumar's oddball comedies and romantic comedies dominated the box office in the 2000s.  He and katrina kaif had amazing on-screen chemistry and have a number of successes together.  Among these, Namastey london has become one of Akshay Kumar's most popular comedies.  A punjabi guy who attempts to win over his British-born wife, played by katrina kaif, is the subject of the movie.  Namastey london may have a surprise at the box office this holi because Akshay has a sizable cult following for his previous films.
