
UP Cabinet's big decision: Stamp papers worth Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 declared illegal, will be out of circulation.
Yogi cabinet meeting: Many important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. After the meeting, Finance minister Suresh Khanna informed about the decisions.
Stamps worth Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 will no longer be considered valid in UP. This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on monday under the chairmanship of chief minister Yogi Adityanath. After this, stamp papers worth Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 will now be out of circulation. However, the papers purchased before the notification can be returned or used till march 31.
Many more important decisions were taken in the meeting:
- In the meeting, consent was given to the free transfer of land for the establishment of a medical college in Ballia.
- Consent was given to free transfer of land registered in the name of government Agricultural school in favor of the Medical education Department for the establishment of Nursing college in Autonomous State Medical college, Bulandshahr.
A consensus was reached on giving financial approval for the construction of a 300-bed Gynecology block at the Medical university in Saifai.
- It was decided to give 0.8 hectares of land to SPP for setting up DTIS in lucknow under the lucknow node of the Defense Industrial Corridor.
- It was decided to transfer the land of the closed spinning mills of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Spinning Mills Association Limited, Kanpur under the Taxfed group to UPSIDA free of cost for industrial use.
- It was decided to transfer the government land of barren category free of cost for tourism development around Maharishi Dadhi Kund in village Dahi of Tehsil Sadar Pargana Gopamau of Hardoi.
- In the meeting, the wheat procurement policy under the Price Support Scheme for Rabi marketing year 2025-26 was approved. - Consent was given for the free transfer of land of the home Department in favor of the Housing and Urban Planning Department for the Metro Depot of the first and second corridor of the agra Metro rail Project of Uttar Pradesh Metro rail Corporation Limited.
