Violence erupted after india won in Champions Trophy
According to reports, the violence started after the indian cricket team won the ICC Champions Trophy and there were festivities.  Some Muslims outside the mosque attacked the celebratory fans as a procession passed down the road where the mosque is situated.  Without much delay, the situation turned into a riot.  The situation was brought under control by the deployment of police forces, but significant damage had already been done.
