Medical Helicopter Crash: Medical helicopter crashes in Mississippi, USA, three people killed

A series of plane accidents continues in America. This time a helicopter has fallen victim to an accident in Mississippi. The accident happened on monday when a medical transport helicopter crashed. During this, a helicopter pilot and two hospital workers died.

A spokesperson for the 'University of Mississippi Medical Center' has confirmed the death of all the people on board the plane. The university said in an earlier statement that at the time of the accident in Madison County, no patient was being transported in the Aircare helicopter, i.e. a helicopter used for medical work.


The families of the three people who lost their lives in the accident have been informed, but officials did not release the names due to confidentiality. The university did not give a cause for the crash. Federal Aviation Administration officials were headed to the scene, television station WAPT reported.
