India air Force: india will be 'Bahubali' in aerial power, new batch of fighter planes will be ready; Defense Ministry's strong plan

India air Force: Many fighter planes in the indian air Force will be decommissioned in the next 10 to 12 years. In such a situation, the Defense Ministry is preparing to buy 114 fighter jets to replace them.

The indian air Force will add 114 fighter jets to its fleet in the next 5 to 10 years. A high-level committee of the Defense Ministry has given its approval to this plan. These fighter jets will replace the fighter planes that are retiring in the coming years.

According to sources, in the next four to five years, the indian air Force will induct fighter jets through global tenders. The induction of 114 fighter jets will help the air Force maintain its squadron strength for the next 10 years. 10 squadrons of fighter jets are to be retired by the year 2037. That means many fighter jets will be phased out from the indian air Force in 10 to 12 years. These include fighter jets like Jaguar, Mirage-2000 and Mig-29. In such a situation, to ensure that there is no reduction in India's aerial power, the Defense Ministry is moving forward in the direction of replacing these aircraft.

Focus on fifth-generation aircraft

According to sources, the aircraft participating in the tender include Rafale, Gripen, Eurofighter Typhoon, Mig-31, and F-16 fighter jets. These aircraft have also participated in the previous tender for 126 fighter aircraft. There is also news that the indian air Force wants to increase the number of its squadrons to 60 by the year 2047. Apart from 114 fighter jets, different versions of indigenous fighter aircraft 'Tejas' like Mark-1A and Mark-2 will also be included in the air Force fleet during this time.

Currently, the indian air Force has only 36 4.5-generation fighter jets. All of these are Rafale aircraft purchased from France. In such a situation, the air Force needs to increase the number of such powerful aircraft to increase its strength. This is the reason why the indian air Force is now planning to include fifth-generation fighter aircraft in its fleet.
