20 sponsors for IPL..!? Biggest Ad revenue..!?

While the indian cricket team is recovering from the collapse of winning the ICC Champions Trophy, all the global cricket stars have started to invade India. Yes, this year's much-awaited Tata's indian Premier League, i.e. the IPL, is set to start in the next few days. IPL is more than just a sports competition, it is a platform for global brands. This IPL is a business opportunity that generates billions of rupees every year. IPL is a place where sports and brands converge. Just as America has a Super Bowl, similarly IPL is for India. This year, something special. The IPL OTT and tv broadcasting licenses are always divided between two companies, but for the first time this year, JioStar will be holding the OTT and tv broadcasting licenses. Thus, if you want to advertise in the IPL match, JioStar is the one-stop solution. This is why there is an opinion that the advertising fee will increase exponentially.
In the last broadcast license auction of the IPL match, jio won the OTT license and Star Network the tv license. But now, due to the merger of these two companies, the OTT and tv broadcasting licenses have come into the hands of a single company. In this situation, jio HotStar has about 20 leading sponsors for the 2025 IPL match. Generally, not only the companies that have broadcast licenses during the IPL season but also the cricket fans will get more advertising revenue. This IPL will provide a great opportunity for all parties, including companies planning to expand their business in india and companies planning to start their business in India. Meanwhile, cricketers will also be rocking the big time.
In this situation, JioStar has signed sponsorship deals with various renowned brands for Tata IPL 2025. The list mainly includes My11Circle, Campa Energy, Birla Opus, Pokerfasi, SBI, PhonePe, Mutual Funds Sahi Hai, Thumbs Up, google Search, Allen Soli, Jaguar Bath + Light, GPay, Kent Kuhl Fans, Dream11, Reliance-owned Campa, Joy Cosmetics, TVS, Asian Paints, Jupyter and Amul. The advertising revenue of IPL 2025 alone is expected to be in the range of Rs 6,000 to 7,000 crore. This revenue is expected to be generated through tv and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital platform advertisements, team sponsorship, and on-ground advertising. These are just preliminary estimates and the numbers may increase or decrease by the end of the tournament.

Around 820 million people watched the ICC Champions Trophy final exclusively on jio Hotstar. It remains to be seen whether Tata IPL 2025 will surpass this figure. The tournament, which will be held from march 22 to May 25, is expected to cross 820 million as it will keep cricket fans (sorry, cricket fanatics) across the country in front of the screen.
