Pakistan train Hijack: Pakistani officials claim that the ongoing rescue operation in the Bolan district of balochistan province has ended and all the rebels have been killed.

The operation to free the hostage passengers of the Jaffar Express passenger train in the Bolan district of Pakistan's balochistan province has been completed. Sources said on wednesday that the standoff that had been going on for more than 24 hours between the fighters of the Majeed Brigade of the Baloch Liberation army (BLA) and the Pakistani army has ended.
Around 346 hostages have been freed in this operation. Sources have confirmed that the military operation launched to rescue the hostages has ended. At least 346 hostages have been rescued and around 50 attackers have been killed.

Army spokesman Lieutenant General ahmed Sharif told Pakistani media outlet Dunya news TV that all 33 terrorists present at the attack site were killed. Sharif said, 'The armed forces completed the operation on (Wednesday) evening by killing all the terrorists and rescuing all the passengers safely.
50 BLA attackers were killed. Security sources said the terrorists were using women and children as human shields. They said the operation was carried out with extreme caution and skill, resulting in saving many lives.
The number of passengers who fell victim to the terrorists' brutality is being ascertained. It was also revealed that the handler of the attackers, the mastermind behind the attack, was in active contact with terrorists from Afghanistan. The BLA separatist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The BLA separatist group released all women and children and more than 200 passengers were taken hostage. It was claimed that all the hostages were from punjab province and were members of the security forces.
The BLA also claimed that at least 20 of the abducted security personnel were killed after checking their identity cards.
On Tuesday, a large number of BLA militants forced the Jaffar Express passenger train to stop by blowing up the track in the Dhabar area of Bolan Pass in Balochistan. Security forces and railway officials confirmed that the train was attacked near tunnel number eight of the Bolan Pass.
A military official told AFP, "346 hostages were freed and more than 30 terrorists were killed during the operation." He further said that 27 off-duty soldiers on the train were killed by terrorists and one soldier died during the operation.
Pakistan prime minister Shahbaz Sharif wrote on Twitter: "Spoke to chief minister Sarfraz Bugti who briefed me on the latest developments in the heinous terrorist attack on Jaffar Express. The entire nation is deeply shocked by this dastardly act and saddened by the loss of innocent lives. Such cowardly acts will not shake Pakistan's resolve for peace."
Sharif said, 'I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs. May Allah grant them the highest place in heaven and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Dozens of terrorists have been sent to hell.'
This is the first time the BLA or any other militant group has hijacked a passenger train in balochistan province, though since last year they have increased their attacks on security forces, establishments, and foreigners in different parts of the province.
