In Goregaon, Mumbai, akshay kumar and tabu began a new one-month schedule for the horror-comedy movie Bhooth Bangla.  The set is put up in the style of a haunted mansion, with towering ceilings and dark passageways.  A humorous pursuit scene in which the leads become separated from one another and make a valiant effort to escape what they believe to be a ghost is one of the key scenes that will be filmed during this schedule.
 
Following his replacement by kartik aaryan in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Akshay Kumar's latest project, Bhooth Bangla, which was directed by Priyadarshan, appears to be a mind trick.  Fans have been disappointed that Akshay has not appeared in the sequels to the cult favorite Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007).  Perhaps in retaliation for being removed, Akshay appears to be starting his own horror-comedy franchise by working with Priyadarshan, the director of the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
 
Bhooth Bangla has promised to revive the blend of humor and horror found in Bhool Bhulaiyaa.  With a cast that includes tabu, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav, this film might be Akshay's attempt to prove his genre-specific expertise and challenge Kartik Aaryan's success in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequels.  It is yet unknown, though, if Akshay will have the chance to regain his reputation as a bollywood horror-comedy mastermind with this april 2026 release.
