India In UN: 'Kashmir will not become yours by repeating the same thing again and again', India left pakistan speechless at the UN
India In UN: pakistan once again raised the kashmir issue in the United Nations, to which indian representative Parvataneni Harish gave a blunt reply to Pakistan.
India In UN: India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Parvataneni Harish on Friday (14 March) strongly criticized Pakistan's claims and statements on Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that by repeatedly singing the tune of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir, this integral part of India will not become Pakistan's. Parvataneni said in clear words that kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir was, is, and will always remain an integral part of India.
Parvataneni slammed pakistan at the UN meeting being held to observe the international Day to Combat Islamophobia across the world. Reading out India's response to Pakistan's recent statement at the UN, he said, "As usual, the former foreign secretary of pakistan once again made an unnecessary reference to the indian Union Territory of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir today. Repeatedly bringing up kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir will neither validate their claim on this territory nor justify their support of cross-border terrorism." He said, "Such attempts by pakistan will not change the reality that kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir was, is, and will always remain an integral part of India."
This statement by Harish Parvataneni on behalf of the indian government came after india on friday rejected Pakistan's allegations in which pakistan had alleged India's role in the train hijacking in Pakistan. India rejected these allegations and said that the world knows very well where the real center of global terrorism is.
India has one of the largest Muslim populations
Harish Parvataneni told the UN session, 'India is a land of diversity and pluralism. india has more than 20 crore Muslims and it is one of the largest Muslim populations in the world. india stands united as a member of the UN in condemning incidents of religious intolerance against Muslims.' Harish also said that promoting a world free from religious discrimination, hatred, and violence has always been a way of life for India.
