The backlash against pooja hegde was further fueled by a viral moment when she mistakenly referred to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as a tamil film instead of a telugu one, irking fans who took it as a sign of detachment from the industry that gave her stardom. Such incidents, combined with what some perceive as an entitled attitude, have led to increasing criticism on social media.

While her fans defend her as a hardworking actress who has improved over time, the overall perception remains divided. Whether she will break free from this "overrated" tag depends on her future choices—taking on more performance-oriented roles and proving her versatility beyond just being a glamorous presence on screen.

Arabic Kuthu, a lively and energetic dance performance by pooja hegde from the film Beast, has become a favorite among fans.  Surprisingly, three years after its original release, the song is still popular and has already reached the significant milestone of 700 million views.

Beast's creators shared the joyous accomplishment on social media, revealing the record set by the song Arabic Kuthu, which received more than 700 million views on the platform. The song's female vocals were performed by Jonita Gandhi, while Anirudh provided his voice.  In the meanwhile, the song's lyrics were written by actor Sivakarthikeyan.
