Which dog is the priciest in the world, do you know? An indian dog breeder gave it the name Cadabom Okami, a wolf-dog mix. This exceptional canine was just bought by an indian bidder for an astounding 4.4 million british pounds (about Rs. 50 crore). For comparison, this sum would purchase almost 55 kg of gold!
With its distinctive and robust look, Cadabom Okami is a cross between a wolf and a white shepherd. It weighs 75 kg and is 30 inches tall, even though it is just eight months old. The dog's diet, which consists of three kilograms of raw chicken every day, is equally impressive.
People are anxious to see this unique and magnificent dog, which has already achieved celebrity status and often makes appearances on important occasions. One of the most uncommon and costly dogs in the world, Cadabom Okami is regarded as the first of its type and is a special hybrid between a white shepherd and a pure wolf.
Who purchased Cadabom Okami in India?
A 51-year-old Bengaluru dog breeder named S. Satish has taken over as the new owner of Cadabom Okami. Satish's vast collection of uncommon canine breeds has earned him widespread recognition. He is a well-known person in the dog breeding industry, as evidenced by the fact that he owns more than 150 distinct breeds.
In February, Okami, who was born in the US, was sold to Satish by an indian broker. The indian Dog Breeders Association President, Satish, expressed his enthusiasm at the acquisition. Because of Okami's remarkable wolf-like appearance, he called it a genuinely unique dog. He underlined that Okami was extremely uncommon and unusual because this specific breed had never been offered for sale before.
Enthusiastic in dogs, Satish claimed to love bringing exotic breeds to india and owning them. He spent an incredible Rs. 50 crore on Cadabom Okami, the most expensive dog in the world, because of his passion for exceptional dogs.
Where does it originate from?
The powerful, thick-coated Caucasian Shepherd dog breed is native to frigid climates like Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and portions of Russia. Traditionally, these strong guard dogs have been employed to keep livestock safe from wolves and other predators. They are prized for their strength and protective tendencies as they are frequently seen herding and protecting sheep and goats in hilly regions.
Making money through Okami's promotion
By showcasing Okami at prestigious occasions, such as movie premieres, S. Satish has made his uncommon dog breed a lucrative sensation. In Karnataka, the dog has gone viral and garnered a lot of attention.
The footage of Okami strolling the red carpet on one occasion garnered almost 3 million views online, demonstrating the dog's increasing popularity.
Satish bills a lot of money to show Okami at festivals. Reports state:
His fee for a 30-minute appearance is around Rs. 2.5 lakh.
A five-hour reservation might cost up to Rs. 10 lakh.
