The newlyweds, Vicky and Piya, had planned to use color bombs exploding in the background to create a gorgeous scene. But rather of adding to the scene, one of the gadgets malfunctioned and hit the bride squarely as the husband raised her for a picture. After being seen on camera, the startling accident became popular on social media.
The couple recounted their ordeal in the caption of their post, explaining that despite adhering to all safety measures, the malfunction still occurred. "The idea was to have a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos, but unfortunately, the device shot at us instead. We were also about to hold our baby, making the situation even more terrifying," they shared.
The bride needed emergency medical attention after suffering obvious wounds, such as burns on her back and burned hair. The pair persevered in the face of the upsetting development. They disclosed that the tragedy occurred between their wedding and celebration in an instagram story. "We rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment and still managed to attend our reception and enjoy the rest of the evening," they said.
The couple took use of their position to voice their concerns and spread the word about the dangers of explosions during weddings. "This page is a warning regarding pyrotechnics that use color bombs. Accidents can still occur even with safety measures in place. They said in the comments, "We definitely believe in the evil eye, whether you do too."
