A senior engineer at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was detained in a coordinated operation by the federal, state, and defense intelligence services for allegedly providing pakistan with confidential defense-related data in return for Bitcoin payments.

Deeparaj Chandran, a 36-year-old accused man from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was employed at BEL's Product Development and Innovation Centre (PDIC) as a Senior Engineer. Chandran is charged with providing the Pakistani agents with vital defense-related intelligence, including specifics on key officials, office designs, and manufacturing methods.

The intelligence services believe that Chandran used encrypted channels to communicate with his operatives in pakistan, including as Telegram, WhatsApp, and email. Officers looking into the case have revealed startling facts about how the defendant prepared confidential material and set up a covert email account. Instead of sending the emails directly, Chandran supplied log-in credentials to avoid discovery, allowing the Pakistani agents to retrieve the private information included in the email drafts.

There are major worries about a national security breach since the police believe Chandran may have been leaking defense-related material for a long time.

To ascertain the complete scope of the intrusion, the intelligence services are now examining communication logs and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital transactions.  The officials who are trying to piece together the chronology of events are now questioning the suspected BEL senior engineer.
