IPL 2025: bcci brings in 4 new rules..!?

The bcci has implemented 4 new rules in the 2025 IPL series. Moreover, the bcci has also implemented a new rule that will provide income over salary to motivate cricketers. Let's take a look at them.

First rule: In the 2025 IPL series, bowlers can now rub their saliva on the ball. Through this, they can get the necessary help to swing the ball.

Second rule: Since the IPL series is played at night, the ball is likely to get wet due to the humidity in the air in the second innings. To avoid this, the second new ball can be received from the 11th over. If the captain of the bowling team appeals to the umpire for a second ball, the umpire can definitely choose a ball that is equivalent to the condition of the ball used in the first 10 overs. It is noteworthy that the umpire must definitely give it to the captain of the bowling team if he asks for a new ball, regardless of whether there is humidity in the air or not.

Third rule:
From now on, captains will no longer be banned for slow over-rate. Instead, they will be fined demerit points and 25% to 75% of their match salary.

Fourth rule: Now the system of reviewing wide and no-balls has been implemented in IPL matches. Umpires or players can now review no-balls and offside wide balls through Hawk Eye and ball tracking technology. These four new rules have been implemented by the bcci from the 2025 IPL series.
Not just salary: Apart from this, the players participating in the IPL series will be paid Rs 7.5 lakh for playing in each match, in addition to their fixed salary. It is noteworthy that if a player plays 14 matches of the league round, he will earn about Rs 1.05 crore. All parties are happy as all these rules are in favor of cricket teams and players.
