Tamil cinema has been falling far behind telugu cinema, which has been providing major blockbusters that have made over ₹1000 crore at the box office. To date, no tamil film has been able to surpass this thousand crore milestone.

In light of this, tamil people are currently expecting the next movie Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth and was directed by the gifted lokesh kanagaraj, to surpass this benchmark.  On social media, tamil people are slapping their thighs and declaring that this movie will be their 1000 crore production.  And given that the movie represents the reunion of Rajinikanth, lokesh, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and others, this is essentially to be anticipated.

Bollywood actor aamir khan is rumored to be involved in this movie as well, however this has not been formally confirmed.  On the other hand, it must be acknowledged that this picture lacks the buzz and attention required to become the next indian blockbuster to earn 1000 crores.  Although there isn't much pre-release buzz for the rest of the indian audience, the tamil community may be extremely thrilled about this combination.  If there is any, Aamir Khan's presence could generate some income for Hindi, but that is also debatable.

The filming was finished today, and the promotions should begin shortly.  However, the kind of momentum required for the picture to be so highly valued and earn as much as a thousand crore is still lacking.  Like Vikram, this movie will rely on word-of-mouth in other languages, which will ultimately determine its box office success.  There are now fewer wonders in other languages.
