Amazon Prime Video and apple TV+ have merged in New Zealand.  It allowed viewers to use a single medium to watch the shows on both platforms.  India is about to experience something similar.  According to the news, amazon Prime Video will provide apple TV+ content as an extra service.

This implies that customers can enjoy apple TV+ content on amazon Prime Video for an additional fee.  A previous merger with Lionsgate and other platforms allowed indian fans to pay more to watch shows that were available on many platforms.  Numerous platforms collaborate for the convenience of viewers, which is advantageous to both OTT and viewers.  In response to this merger, netizens voiced their opinions.

While some embraced it enthusiastically, others believed it was useless because they would need to pay extra on top of their Prime Video subscription.  The recent jio and Hotstar merger also caused a stir because the content quality declined, and fans are worried if Prime Video would suffer the same fate.

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the critically acclaimed apple TV series Severance has been renewed for a third season.  On social media, Cook shared the news, writing, "Season 3 of Severance available on request."

Apple TV will watch Cold Harbor, the show's finale, on friday night.  This announcement follows Severance's overtake of Ted Lasso as the most-watched show on the over-the-top platform.

The third season's actual premiere date has not yet been announced.  However, the creators don't want the third installment to be three years away.
