The next Rajinikanth movie Coolie, which is helmed by lokesh kanagaraj, will feature shruti haasan as one of the main characters.  A sneak peek of Shruti's appearance from the movie also went viral on march 15, 2025, Lokesh's birthday.  The actress was seen in the picture talking to lokesh while sporting a modest appearance devoid of many accessories and cosmetics.  Social media users are taking notice of Shruti's new appearance, which has suggested that her role may end up being very straightforward.
 
The plot of the movie is still unknown, but in august of last year, sun Pictures posted a similar-looking image of shruti on Instagram, revealing that her character's name was Preethi.  Audiences were anticipating shruti to be Coolie's glamour factor, which is another reason why her new appearance is popular.  But it appears like the sole dazzling aspect of the movie would be pooja Hegde's item song.
