Finally, the wait is over!  On Sunday, the trailer for salman Khan's eagerly awaited movie Sikandar was released by the film's producers. The decision to pair the 59-year-old actor with the 28-year-old rashmika mandanna has been questioned by many ever since the announcement of the AR murugadoss film.  In response to the trolls' concerns during the trailer's release, salman said he would even collaborate with Rashmika's daughter when she has one in the future.

When asked about the 31-year age gap between him and rashmika, salman confidently shut down the criticism. He stated at the trailer launch, “Jab heroine ko problem nahi ho rahi toh aapko kyu ho rahi hai. Inki shadi hogi, bachchi hongi, toh unke sath bhi kaam karenge. Mummy ka permission toh mil he jaega (When the heroine doesn’t have a problem, why do you have a problem? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work even with her daughter. Mom will give permission).”

Salman Khan complimented rashmika Mandanna's commitment and work ethic during the same exchange, saying it made him think of his younger self.  He revealed how the pushpa star was balancing Sikandar and pushpa 2, two significant undertakings, at the same time.  "Rashmika shot until 7:00 p.m. for pushpa 2.  After arriving at the Sikandar set at 9 p.m., she would film with us until 6:30 a.m. before returning to Pushpa.  She was also ill.  She didn't postpone shooting for a day after fracturing her leg.  She makes me think of a younger version of myself in many respects," he remarked.
