pooja hegde, an actress, has collaborated in a variety of languages with some of the nation's biggest male performers.  Before working with Vijay, Prabhas, salman khan, Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ranveer Singh, naga Chaitanya, ram Charan, and most recently, shahid Kapoor, she made her hindi language debut alongside hrithik roshan in the movie Mohenjo Daro.

She talked candidly about the discrimination she has seen on movie sets during her career in an interview, adding that she gets really excited when she sees news reports about a female actor earning large salaries. In addition to admitting that she will be pickier about the projects she takes on in the future, she named a woman as her favorite male co-star when asked.

Given her extensive experience with male co-stars, pooja was asked if she had ever experienced conflict with one in an interview with Filmfare. "It exists in every industry, but to varying degrees," she noted. While some of it is extremely subtle, others are very obvious. For example, the male actor's vanity van would be parked close to the site, and we would have to walk the entire distance wearing our lehengas. At times, I thought, "Listen, ya, consider us; we're dragging ourselves to get to our vans while wearing such bulky costumes."

"This is subtle sexism," she added. Your name might not even appear on a poster. Even in romantic stories, you may not always receive the credit.  We must all understand that creating a movie requires teamwork.  Even on settings where she is "technically the bigger star," pooja claimed that she is treated like a second-class citizen despite having worked with many male celebrities who have "earned the right" over decades.
