In the wake of the promotion of online betting apps causing a stir in the telugu states, the hyderabad Greens Society has taken a sensational decision. The society has decided to file a complaint at the Punjagutta police station against bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and cricket legends sachin tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Society is strongly opposed to the fact that these three celebrities have earned crores of rupees by promoting betting apps, but it is not right to leave them out and target only YouTubers. In telangana, the police have been cracking down on those promoting betting apps for the last few months. Cases have already been registered against several YouTubers, social media influencers, and small-scale celebrities at the Punjagutta and miyapur police stations. people like Harsha Sai, Vishnupriya, Tasty Teja, and Shyamala are on this list. However, the hyderabad Greens Society is expressing deep anger over the fact that no action has been taken against the big celebrities who actually promoted these apps.
 
Shah Rukh Khan has previously acted as a brand ambassador for many online gaming and betting apps. The society also alleges that cricket stars like sachin tendulkar and virat kohli have earned crores of rupees by promoting fantasy sports apps. They argue that these fantasy apps are also related to betting and that the youth are being misled by them. Speaking on this issue, a spokesperson for the hyderabad Greens Society said, "If such big-name celebrities promote betting apps, their fans will believe them and get fooled. But, how reasonable is it for the police to leave them alone and target only small YouTubers?" He questioned. He clarified that leaving big celebrities and punishing only small ones is not the right approach. Overall, this decision taken by the hyderabad Greens Society regarding the promotion of online betting apps has become a topic of discussion. It remains to be seen how the police will respond in this matter. Only time will tell whether action will be taken against big celebrities as well.
