Late famous actor Allu Ramalingaiah's wife, legendary producer Allu Aravind's mother, megastar Chiranjeevi's mother-in-law, icon star Allu Arjun's grandmother, and Mega power star ram Charan's grandmother, Allu Kanakaratnam, is reportedly undergoing treatment in the hospital due to illness. It is reported that 95-year-old Kanakaratnam is on a ventilator in the ICU. Allu Kanakaratnam is a person who is little known to the outside world, even though his entire family, from his husband to his grandchildren, has been in the film industry for 60-70 years. She was seen only on the occasion of her husband Allu Ramalingaiah's centenary almost two years ago. Even then, she attended in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, there are reports on social media that Kanakaratnam is in the hospital.
Kanakaratnam has been facing health problems for the past few days due to her age. Due to this, family members have admitted her to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, allu ramalingaiah and Kanakaratnam have a son allu aravind, a daughter surekha, and another daughter. aravind is known to film fans as a mega-producer and surekha is known as the wife of megastar Chiranjeevi. Along with allu arjun, who is fondly called bunny, Sirish, Bobby, ram Charan, Sushmita, sreeja and others are Kanakaratnam's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Allu Ramalingaiah died in 2004. On the occasion of his centenary, his family members launched 'Allu Studio'. Kanakaratnam attended the event. allu arjun was arrested in the stampede that took place at sandhya Theatre during the premiere show of 'Pushpa 2' and Kanakaratnam herself took care of him after he came back from jail. Meanwhile, it was Kanakaratnam's idea to make chiranjeevi, who was just emerging in the film industry, their son-in-law. He inquired and gave his daughter surekha to chiranjeevi in marriage.
