After jumping from a speeding train close to Alwal railway station to get away from a man who allegedly harassed and tried to sexually assault her, a 23-year-old woman suffered serious injuries. The woman was traveling home from secunderabad on the evening of march 22, 2025, when the tragedy occurred.

An Ordinary Trip Becomes a horror

The survivor, who works for swiggy as an inventory manager, had gone to secunderabad in the afternoon to fix the screen on her cell phone.  She went to secunderabad railway station when the repair was completed, purchased a general ticket for Medchal, and boarded the Telapur-Medchal MMTS train from Platform No. 10 at 7:15 PM. At first, the trip appeared to be unremarkable.  However, she was left alone in the ladies' coach at 8:15 PM when two female passengers disembarked at the Alwal railway station, save for an unidentified man who had unexpectedly approached her.

Bullying on a Moving train

The suspect approached her and made indecent demands. He was described as a small, dark-skinned male of about 25 who was dressed in shorts and a checkered shirt. She later told the authorities, "He told me he wanted me and asked for sexual favors." She forcefully refused him, stating that she was not that type of person, in shock and fear.  But the man tried to push himself on her and wouldn't back down. The survivor took the snap decision to jump off the moving train out of fear for her safety. She received significant blood injuries to her right hand, waist, chin, and head as she impacted the ground.  She also misplaced her rail ticket in the fall. When onlookers noticed she was hurt and bleeding, they promptly phoned for an ambulance.  After being taken to gandhi Hospital in secunderabad, she was given medical care.
