Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of cricketer Rohit Sharma, appears to have made fun of Dhanashree Verma for receiving Rs 4.75 crore in alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal. A video of Shubhankar Mishra criticizing the dancer and claiming that people were correct to brand her a gold digger went viral amid the news of yuzvendra chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce. As if to criticize Dhanashree, Ritika 'liked' the post.
In the video, Shubhankar said, "Dhanashree ke case main, Dhanashree ko apni doosri zindagi shuru karne main badi takleefo ka saamna karna pada. chahal ke fans unhe troll karenge. chahal ke fans unhe troll karenge. Aise main, paisa rahega toh yeh empowerment deta hai. Taakat ka ehsas deta hai. Phir mere mann main sawal aata hai, 'Toh phir yeh nahi kehna chahiye na ki I'm a self-made woman?"

He said, "Phir jo chahal aapka mazaak udane ke liye T-shirt pehen raha hai jispe likha hai be your own sugar daddy ya voh log jo aapko gold-digger keh rahe hain, unn baaton se aapko bohot parhez nahi karna chahiye kyuki aap paise le rahe ho." Rohit Sharma's wife, Ritika Sajdeh, 'liked' the clip on Instagram, much to everyone's surprise.

Yuzvendra chahal and Dhanashree Verma's Divorce
In case you were unaware, yuzvendra chahal and Dhanashree Verma, who were married in 2020, are now officially divorced.  On march 20, they were granted a divorce.  For the past eighteen months, they have been living apart.  Chahal's lawyer, Nitin Kumar Gupta, told ANI on the day of the divorce that "the court has granted the decree of divorce, and both parties are no longer husband and wife."
 
Did yuzvendra chahal Cheat on Dhanashree?
On the same day, Dhanashree released her most recent music video, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, which addresses infidelity and poisonous relationships, as fans were still absorbing the news.  Following her divorce, Dhanashree made her first public appearance on march 21, 2025. Dhanashree responded cryptically to a question regarding her sentiments after the divorce while maintaining her composure.

She nodded with a strong expression, blinking for a moment before saying, "Gaana suno pehle." Ishwak Singh, who plays Dhanashree's on-screen spouse in the song video, tells the tale of a lady caught in a poisonous, betrayed relationship. Dhanashree's enigmatic comments gained more fascination as fans were unable to resist drawing comparisons between the video's plot and her actual circumstances.
