pooja hegde, an actress, has been open about the negative aspects of the entertainment industry, bringing attention to topics such as internal politics, gender discrimination, and paid trolling. She discussed how the glitz of show business frequently hides a disturbing reality in an interview with Filmfare.

Pooja revealed that large sums of money are spent on bad press as part of coordinated operations to discredit actors. It was shocking to learn that even her own teammates were asked to take part.

We discovered that this was costing lakhs of rupees.  She said that such techniques show a drive to pull down successful people. "They even offered us the same rate to troll others," she said.

"It means you're ahead of them if they want to pull you down," she said.

She also talked about how trolling has become more widespread on social media and is now a potent instrument for influencing public opinion. pooja has suffered the most from this kind of targeted abuse, just like many other actors.

Pooja brought attention to the ongoing prejudice against women in the profession, which goes beyond hate speech on the internet.

She didn't hold back when it came to being treated unfairly on shoots or being removed from promotional materials despite having important responsibilities.

"While we, wearing heavy lehengas, have to walk long distances, male actors get their vanity vans close to the set," she said.

She also underlined how job chances and industry exposure are frequently determined by nepotism and behind-the-scenes politics.
