On march 21, 2025, Sky Force—which starred Veer Pahadia and Akshay Kumar—will be available on amazon Prime Video.  For those who were unable to see the movie in theaters, it will be accessible via streaming in around 240 countries and territories.  On Wednesday, march 19, Prime Video also posted a video on instagram announcing the streaming date. In the video, Veer and Akshay are seen dancing and posing for the camera.

The key plot point of Sky Force, which was based on a real-life event in which india launched a massive airstrike on Pakistan, was the protagonist who vanishes during the mission.  The rest of the movie focuses on the events that led to the hero's disappearance and how his buddy sets out to find him.

In comparison to Akshay Kumar's previous films, the film earned positive reviews from both reviewers and viewers.  Sadly, Sky Force was a box office failure in spite of all of this; its closing receipts were estimated to be approximately Rs. 140 crores, and the film's producers chose to use corporate bookings to demonstrate its success.  It was said that the movie cost nearly Rs. 168 crores.

Because of their patriotic nature, movies like Sky Force definitely deserve greater attention.  The movie's failure, meanwhile, might have resulted from the fact that it came out about a year after Fighter, which had a similar concept.  Even while Sky Force did not perform well at the box office and will continue to receive favorable reviews on OTT, it has made it possible for other directors to try their hand at future films in related genres.  It's unclear if Sky Force has any remaining life left given that it's now coming to OTT.
