Recently, deepika padukone has been open about what it's like to be a new mother and how to balance going back to work without feeling guilty.  Deepika is balancing parenting and her acting career after giving birth to her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, in september 2024.
 
She stated at the forbes 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi that while she is not currently having difficulties, she is "figuring out" how to manage her obligations to her family and her career.  According to Deepika, becoming a mother has also significantly changed her perspective on her future assignments.  She described this time in her life as "incredible" and hinted that it will subtly affect the movies she chose in the future.  However, she added that even before she became a mother, she was aware of these dynamics.
 
Deepika's upcoming professional endeavors include the much anticipated "Kalki 2898 AD" sequel.  Even though her performance in the first film drew criticism, fans are eager to see how she develops in this follow-up.  Only time will tell if she will battle guilt or find a healthy balance between being a mother and an actress as the filming is ready to resume.
