Regarding how women are portrayed in movies, the telangana Women's Commission has released a press statement.  According to the march 20, 2025, release, they received a lot of complaints on offensive movie steps.  According to the Commission, some of the processes depicted in movies were fairly obscene and negatively portrayed women.  According to the Commission, depicting women in a demeaning way is unpleasant because movies have an impact on viewers and young people.

The appropriate actions must be taken right away by the directors, producers, and choreographers to halt such actions.  It is vital to stop the obscene actions that portray the lady in a degrading manner.  The Commission warned that if you don't follow this, we will take legal action.  Cinema is a powerful medium, and the film business needs to be aware of how it affects young people.  The Commission continued by saying that in light of this, the industry needs to self-discipline and cease engaging in such activities.

The Women's Commission is open to hearing opinions from individuals and organizations.  The Commission stated that it will take the required steps and conduct a thorough investigation.  The current trend is for parents to force their young children to dance to these tunes for entertainment purposes and social media reels, which sets a negative precedent.  The Women's Commission made a much-needed and timely judgment.
