Pawan Kalyan, an actor and politician, has revealed that he has no intention of giving up his first love, movies.  When asked how he balances his political responsibilities with his acting career, kalyan stated that he will keep performing as long as he "needs money."

In an interview with Thanthi TV, kalyan revealed, "Many leaders hold their own companies. I can succeed in politics if they can accomplish it. For both to succeed, you must be an enthusiastic political leader and an enthusiastic actress. I read up on public policy from the mid-1990s and studied administration while I was acting. I want to (act) as long as I need money. And without sacrificing my political and administrative work."

I was greatly influenced by yogis and Henry David Thoreau.  You labor for the people and give of yourself.  I had that thought.  I never got so much money.  I never launched a company, not even a movie studio.  Cinema is my only source of income.  "I now have to do justice because I have committed (to films)," he continued.  Regarding his career, kalyan last appeared in the 2023 film Bro, where he costarred alongside his nephew Sai Dharam Tej.
