Yemen war plan leaked, trump govt mistakenly handed over plan?

News of a big mistake by US President Donald Trump's officials has come to light. In fact, officials of the trump administration accidentally shared intelligence information about a US attack on Yemen's Houthi rebels with a journalist.

In a group chat, some security officials and other key members, who were planning an attack on Yemen, accidentally included 'The Atlantic' editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg. This mistake happened when these officials used a group chat to coordinate air strikes against Houthi rebels and accidentally added Goldberg to that chat without his knowledge.

Although President donald trump and Defense minister Pete Hegseth have refused to confirm or take responsibility for the leak, the incident is being considered a big mistake, as it involved sensitive and confidential information. After the matter came to light, the National Security Council said in a statement that they are investigating how a journalist's number was added to the Signal group chat.

Who was in the group chat?

According to Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, there were a total of 18 members in this group. Apart from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's National Intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard were also included in it. The journalist claims that he received an invitation from Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz to add him to this group.
