Koli Abhishek, the man found dead in texas, was a resident of krishna district of andhra pradesh state of India. He got married a year ago and lived in Phoenix with his wife. But recently he started living in Princeton.
Koli abhishek was last seen in Princeton on saturday (March 22) before going missing. However, after his disappearance, texas law enforcement officials along with members of the local community started a search operation for Koli Abhishek. On sunday (March 23), the day after starting the search operation, law enforcement officials recovered the body of Indian-origin citizen Koli abhishek from Princeton. Officials said that looking at the body, the case seems to be a suicide.
Abhishek was facing financial problems
Koli Abhishek's brother Arvind said, "Koli Abhishek was unemployed for the last 6 months and he was facing financial problems." At the same time, Abhishek's brother Arvind started a GoFundMe campaign to bring his body to india and to perform his last rites. Through this campaign, 18,000 US dollars (about 15,42,019 indian rupees) were collected in donations within 10 hours.
Expressing gratitude for supporting the campaign, Arvind wrote, "We want to honor Abhishek's memory without any financial worries. Thanks to everyone for supporting this. The telugu community living in the united states stood with Abhishek's family and gave them financial and emotional support. At the same time, local groups also helped his family in making necessary arrangements in this step.
