A young state like telangana stands to benefit greatly from the upcoming Miss World contest, according to minister of Tourism Jupally krishna Rao.  According to him, the pageant's primary goal was to give Telangana's young people work and employment prospects.  He said that the pageant will contribute in luring large corporations to the state.  Our state will host participants from 140 different countries. 

Additionally, some 3000 members of the national and international press will visit Telangana.  According to the minister, they will be aware that there is a state called telangana and a city called Hyderabad. The minister continued by saying that this will also result in an increase in state revenue, which will be utilized to improve the lot of the less fortunate.  On May 10, Gachibowli Stadium will host the opening ceremony for the 72nd Miss World contest, which will take place in Hyderabad.  

On May 31, Hitex will host the grand finale.  On june 2, telangana Formation Day, the victors will meet with the chief minister and governor at raj Bhavan.  Twelve locations in the metropolis and a few nearby Warangal, Nalgonda, and yadadri Bhuvanagiri will host the 25-day extravaganza.  The gala event is anticipated to draw a number of people from states and other nations.
