Final Destination Bloodlines' teaser serves as a reminder that even seemingly innocuous objects can work together in incredibly inventive ways to take your life. Death is back, more determined than ever to recover what is rightfully his, nearly 15 years after Final Destination 5 seemed to tie up the franchise.

This time, Kaitlyn Santa Juana's character, Stefanie, a college student, is afflicted by severe, recurrent nightmares.  Before her entire family suffers the terrible fate that awaits them, she goes home to find the one person who might be able to help her stop the cycle, rather than simply picking up a dream notebook and crossing her fingers.

Bloodlines promises to bring in abundance of the magnificently complex, crazy-style death scenarios that are the hallmark of the Final Destination franchise.  A historic glass-bottomed disco accident that was just barely avoided years ago serves as the inspiration for the new movie.  Death, of course, is not going to overlook that, causing a new wave of commonplace horrors.

The trailer, for example, features the already notorious barbecue scene, in which a lawnmower, a concealed rake beneath a trampoline, and shards of broken glass evoke a sense of imminent disaster.  Additionally, we witness a disco disaster that our main character's grandmother prevented.  It could be the secret to the whole mythology of Final Destination.
