In the video going viral, it can be seen how brutally the attacker, Brayden Joseph james French, a resident of Calgary, attacked the Indian-origin woman. The attacker first came to the woman and snatched her water bottle and threw water on her face. After this, he grabbed the woman's jacket and stuck her against the glass wall and started shaking her violently and started asking for her phone. After catching the attacker, the indian woman started screaming loudly, but no one from the crowd present at the station at the time of the incident tried to save the woman.


Calgary police arrested the attacker

However, after a while the attacker fled from there without taking the phone from the woman. After this, the woman informed the Calgary police about the incident. With the help of the woman's information and eyewitnesses, Calgary police found the attacker Braden Joseph james French within half an hour and arrested him.

Outrage spread after the video went viral

However, after arresting the attacker, Calgary police said that this incident was not motivated by racism. The police further said, "Our diversity resource team is in touch with the people affected by this incident and after the incident, the victim of indian origin woman is being given necessary help."
