According to reports, 295 more indians will be deported by the US, with women being shackled while traveling.  Outrage has been raised by the Modi government's claim, but Washington hasn't even bothered to disclose the total number of indians living in the US illegally. 388 indians have already been repatriated since trump returned to the White House, while EAM S. jaishankar merely informed parliament of the figures. indian authorities are rushing to confirm the names of 295 additional people in ICE custody after the US leaked their details.

The cruel treatment of deportees is what really shocks people.  Since 2012, the US has cynically imposed restrictions on them under the guise of "security."  The flying officer has the last say, but women and children are meant to be spared.  The community is concerned about the purported february 5 arrival of shackled women on indian land.

India claims to have "strongly objected" to the US, but without action, words are meaningless.  Naturally, the united states disputes the indian government's assessment, asserting that no women or children were restrained on flights that arrived on february 15 and 16.  However, following conversations with the deportees, indian agencies have confirmed this.  However, indians living overseas will continue to endure degrading treatment without someone to defend them unless the Modi administration takes a strong stance.
