You've probably heard the saying, "Bad publicity is still publicity," before.  Fans of salman khan appear to have taken this opinion seriously and are now calling for Sikandar to be boycotted. Fans of salman khan have rushed to the internet to demand that Sikandar be boycotted.  Sikandar hasn't created much buzz, in contrast to salman Khan's prior Eid releases. The absence of promotional materials to generate buzz among the audience is the primary cause of this, while there are other contributing factors as well.

Fans are making jokes about how boycotting Sikandar might actually help the movie get more recognition.  This tactic worked for Pathaan, which despite a significant boycott trend became a huge hit and made over ₹1,000 crores worldwide.  Some salman khan fans have been attempting inventive methods to create buzz since they are so keen to get their favorite star's movie back into the spotlight. Ironically, the marketing staff for the movie doesn't seem to have this inventiveness.

Some fans are concerned that the megastar's reputation may be damaged by this boycott movement, but others are certain that it's a surefire method to draw attention and guarantee the movie receives the publicity it merits.  The fans are making every effort to elevate Sikandar.  All we can do now is watch to see what steps the marketing team takes to draw in more customers.
