BCCI planning to cut the salary of Virat and Rohit Sharma..!?

The salary agreement will be fixed annually for the players playing in the indian cricket team. In that regard, the bcci has now issued the salary agreement for the year 2025-26. The consultation meeting for this will be held in guwahati on march 29. indian cricket team coach Gambhir, indian team chief selector Ajit Agarwal, and other bcci officials will participate in this. The salary of the new captain of the India-England series and the Test team will be discussed in this. The indian team players are currently paid in four categories. The salary of the A+ category is Rs 7 crore, the A category is Rs 5 crore, the B category is Rs 3 crore, and the C category is Rs 1 crore. Currently, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, bumrah, and Jadeja have taken a place in the A+ category. At this time, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jadeja have retired from international T20 matches. Due to this, they only play Tests and ODIs.
While it was expected that the value of these two players would increase after winning the Champions Trophy in the ODIs, they have continued to fail to impress in Test matches. Due to this, it has been reported that the bcci has decided to reduce the salaries of these three players. And it is expected that only bumrah will continue to be in the A+ category. Apart from that, it seems that the bcci has decided to pay jaiswal and Gill, who currently play in all three categories, in the A+ category. Similarly, Shreya Iyer, Ishant Kishan and others were abruptly removed from the indian team's salary contract on the grounds that they did not play in domestic cricket. Now it seems that both of them will be given a salary contract. It has been reported that Shreyas will be included in the A category.
