A 14-minute video that allegedly features tamil actress Shruthi Narayanan has surfaced online in a shocking turn of events, igniting controversy and heated debate.
 
The tape purportedly leaked during a private audition and shows the darker side of the tamil film industry's casting couch. Even though the video's veracity hasn't been confirmed, it has already received a lot of attention, going viral on social media and amassing thousands of views in a few hours.

Shruthi Narayanan responded quickly to the incident by keeping her instagram account private in order to preserve her privacy.  Her account, which has more than 39,000 followers, is now only available to people she personally approves of, indicating her wish to take back control of her online profile in the wake of the scandal.

Breaking her silence on the matter, Shruthi shared her first post since the controversy. It is a series of photos from her photoshoot in a white and gold saree.
