In a startling turn of events, the closure report disclosed that Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, had made her financial difficulties worse. It said that in his spice factory in Thane, he was allegedly having an affair with a female employee and misappropriated her hard-earned money. It is believed that this, combined with unfinished projects and broken friendships, played a part in her untimely demise.
Everyone agreed that Salian was stressed out because of family and business matters, according to the closure report. She was angry because two of the initiatives she was managing as a celebrity manager at Cornerstone Company had stagnated.
Additionally, it stated: "In their police statements, Salian's fiancé Roy and all of her friends said that she had told them about her father's affair and how he had used the money she gave him for business on another lady. This made her very sad.
Additionally, a previous post-mortem report made it clear that Disha Salian's death was not the result of an assault or foul play. The investigation also verified that a significant head injury was the cause of her death.
"It is important to note that as per the binding judgment of the supreme court, any closure report filed in an inquiry under Section 174 CrPC (Accidental Death Report/ADR) has no evidentiary value and cannot be relied upon by the accused in cases where cognisable offences are clearly disclosed," said Nilesh Ojha, Satish Salian's attorney, in response to the situation. Consequently, the previous closure report is legally meaningless.
As part of his quest for justice, Satish Salian demanded on Thursday, march 17, that narco tests be performed on all of the case's suspects, including dino morea, Sooraj Pancholi, and Aaditya Thackeray.
"I demanded justice for my daughter," Satish told ANI. I also insisted on protection, even for my legal advisor. I am prepared to take a narcotics test. However, Aaditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, and dino morea should also take the Narco Test. All defendants ought to undergo testing.
Satish Salian also expressed his dissatisfaction with the case's sluggish pace, accusing the former maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of failing to take any action during its two-and-a-half-year tenure. He said that because he felt powerless, he had no option but to go to court to get justice.
