With one of her recent performances, stand-up comic swati Sachdeva let internet users down. On social media, a video of Sachdeva making a lighthearted but contentious remark about her mother has gone viral. She describes how her mother struggled to start a conversation with her after discovering a vibrator in her room.

According to swati, her mother was attempting to "act cool" but found it difficult to discuss the vibrator for fear of it turning on.  The comedian added that she informed her mother that the vibrator belonged to her father in order to save herself from humiliation.  Her mother even told her that her father had "better taste" in response to this.

A portion of netizens responded to the video of Swati's performance that quickly went viral on social media by expressing dissatisfaction. Some criticized her for publicly disdaining her mother, while others referred to her remarks as "vulgar."

Sikandar movie review - One of the users urged PMO to take action against such comedians and wrote, "Shameless…sharmnaak. Thodi bahut hansi majaak chalta hai par ye to ab had hi kar rhe…@GoI_MeitY @PMOIndia need to ban or restrict the content in these shows." "Khud ko famous krne k liye perents ki koi respect nhi hai," added another. "#Shame. In the name of comedy and independence, some women are defaming the whole community," a third comment read. Several other users also called Swati's act "disgusting" and "filthy".

Curiously, this occurs at the same time that comedian Samay Raina is dealing with legal troubles over a contentious remark made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia during his India's Got Talent program.  During a show episode, Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, allegedly asked a participant a question about body parts that was inappropriate and offered to perform an obscene deed in exchange for Rs 2 lakh.  His contentious question, "Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?" caused the most controversy.

Both Samay and Ranveer have now been the subject of numerous FIRs.
