The dying of a 21-year-old NEET aspirant by using suicide in tamil Nadu has sparked a political row, with AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami pointing fingers at the ruling DMK authorities, questioning whether or not the increasing deaths amongst medical aspirants do not prick the conscience of its leaders.

On friday, a 21-year-old NEET aspirant, Devadarshini, died by way of suicide at her home in chennai due to worry about the examination. She had failed the NEET examination three times and changed into preparing for a fourth attempt, with the examination scheduled for May additionally.


In keeping with police, devadarshini spoke to her father on thursday after getting back from her NEET training. She shared issues about repeated disasters, wasted time, and monetary stress with the family. Her father consoled her and entreated her to concentrate on her research.


On friday morning, she helped her mother and father at their bakery before returning home, announcing she had to use the washroom. While she did not return or answer calls, her dad and mom rushed home and discovered her placing from the ceiling with a saree.


Her dad and mom mentioned the incident to the police. An investigation is ongoing. A post-mortem was performed, and her frame was returned again to her own family.


Devadarshini studied at Velammal Matriculation school in Chennai.
