The public is protesting against Musk's policies as the head of DOGE.
During the protest, thousands of people were seen taking to the streets and raising slogans against Musk. At the same time, people also raised their voice by gathering outside tesla dealerships and service centers.
Musk, who is the CEO of electric vehicle company tesla and space company SpaceX. Recently, he has been surrounded by controversies due to his role in government work. He has been made the head of the US government's 'Department of government Efficiency' (DOGE), where his policies have tried to close government agencies and cut expenses.
Protests outside tesla dealerships
On Saturday, protests took place outside 277 tesla dealerships and service centers in the US. The aim of the protesters was to further reduce Tesla's sales, which were already on the decline. The protesters raised slogans like 'Burn a tesla, Save Democracy', 'De-Musk America', and 'Don't Buy Nazi Cars'.
Thousands of people gathered in different states of America like Texas, New Jersey, New York, Minnesota, and other cities to protest against Musk. In Chicago, protesters raised slogans like 'Hey hey, ho ho, Elon Musk has to go'.
Protests in europe too
The protests were not limited to America only, but there were protests against tesla in european cities as well. In London, protesters posted pictures of Musk's Nazi salute and raised slogans like 'Don't Buy Nazi Cars'. Although the number of protests in european cities was not as large as in America, the protest sentiment was the same.
