Before this, director Sanoj Mishra made waves when he offered maha Kumbh sensation monalisa a movie.  According to the most recent information, he was detained on rape charges in Delhi. He has been accused by a young woman from a rural town of constantly taking advantage of her by enticing her with false promises of becoming a movie star.
 
The woman reportedly told the authorities that she initially became acquainted with Sanoj Mishra in 2020 while residing in jhansi via instagram and TikTok.  After a period of frequent communication, Mishra allegedly called her on june 17, 2021, stating that he was at the jhansi railway station.  He reportedly threatened to commit suicide if she didn't come when she declined to meet him.
 
The victim consented to meet him the following day because she feared his threats.  Mishra allegedly took her to a resort on june 18, 2021, where he allegedly abused her and offered her drugs.  She claimed that he also made pornographic videos and threatened to release them if she didn't comply.
 
The victim also said that Mishra had repeatedly taken advantage of her, giving her jobs in movies and making fictitious marriage proposals. Sanoj Mishra recently made waves for presenting a movie to monalisa, the young woman who went viral during the maha Kumbh mela 2025, in case you missed the hype.  Monalisa, who was selling bread at the event, shot to fame on the internet when her photos and videos won over hearts on social media.

Reports surfaced that monalisa had received a film deal shortly after her viral moment.  Sanoj Mishra announced a few days later that she would be appearing in his next film, The Diary of Manipur.  He had also begun teaching her how to act.  She was observed being taken to several occasions by Sanoj. Gandhigiri, ram Ki Janmabhoomi, Lafange Nawab, Dharm Ke Saudagar, and Kashi To kashmir are just a few of the movies that Mishra has directed over the years.
